About Us - Pakistan Institute of Career Counselling (PICC)

Founded by Mr. Syed Abidi, a visionary educationist and renowned career counselor, the Pakistan Institute of Career Counselling (PICC) is committed to shaping the future of students across the country. Realizing the absence of professional counseling and guidance for youth in the early 1990s, Mr. Abidi established PICC to bridge this gap. He also observed a significant shortage of trained counselors available to provide quality guidance. To address this, he worked closely with the British Council to train teachers and counselors in international education and career guidance.

With a profound understanding of the challenges faced by young learners in making informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys, Mr. Abidi founded PICC as a pioneering institute dedicated to providing students with the tools, resources, and support they need to navigate their careers with confidence and clarity.
